Cameron Johnson

Pittsburgh transfer Cameron Johnson has been looking for a new college to call home. Arguably the most desired transfer student this offseason, Johnson has received interest from a lot of power five schools including Kentucky. Calipari would like to hold out for Knox, but if Johnson were to sign with Kentucky, it would still be a win.

The 6-foot-8 small forward averaged 11.8 points and 4.7 rebounds at Pittsburgh his junior year, shooting 40 percent from three. Joining the likes of Jemarl Baker on the perimeter makes Kentucky a well-balanced team. Also, the experience he would bring to a very young Kentucky basketball team makes him an intriguing recruit. Undoubtedly, Johnson would be a good get for the 2017-2018 Wildcats.

Johnson released his final six schools. Kentucky made the list along with Oregon, Ohio State, UCLA Arizona, and TCU.
