Movement is expected to occur within the SEC. Included into the conference are some of the top tier football programs in the nation. The SEC has an infamous reputation of being a football conference. With the performances by SEC teams in the NCAA Tournament, one could say that the misconception might be changing.

To conclude, the conference as a whole is going to only get stronger when it comes to basketball as recruiting improves. Missouri just landed the top overall prospect in Michael Porter Jr. Kentucky dominates the recruiting board each year. Teams like Alabama, Florida, and South Carolina definitely have something to say to the doubters of the level of talent in the South.
