NC State Wolfpack (ACC)

The Wolfpack make a lot of sense when talking about making a move to another conference. When speaking in terms of basketball talent, NC State doesn’t offer a ton of great assets. With that said, entering the SEC would possibly mean a more competitive schedule for the Wolfpack. Kentucky would have the benefit of playing another team close to proximity that has experience playing in a tough ACC conference.

The Wolfpack bring to the table a different playing style that resembles another type of game that can prepare Kentucky for other teams. Also, it brings something new to prepare for and another offensive and defensive scheme to get in the film room and disect.

Back to Football

Kentucky Football is on the rise and no one can doubt that. Recruiting is at another level. Adding a football program like NC State would mean that Kentucky would get the opportunity to showcase a similar set of skills against. It’s no question that The Wolfpack doesn’t bring the firepower that other teams could. adding them would mean more opportunities for consistent competitive matchups between the two schools.

NC State is not a stranger to scheduling SEC schools in various sports and they have a good opportunity to be included into the conference.
