Our First Look

Kentucky fans have long awaited to have a football team that they can call their own. Kentucky Basketball gets all of the glory in Lexington and for good reason. The football program, however, is on the rise. After an exciting season in 2016 that resulted in a birth in the TaxSlayer Bowl, Kentucky will again take the field to show the Commonwealth what’s in store for 2017.

Kentucky football enters the season with arguably the best recruiting class in history. Big names and a lot of stars will be making their way to Lexington this summer to open the eyes of the Big Blue Nation. Although most of the bigger names will not participate in the Spring Game, some of the early enrollees will.

This game will be a measuring stick for a few things. For example, fans will see who takes reps at quarterback. Also, the second string running back position is up for grabs. In addition to the offense, the defensive line and linebackers will get to show that they’ve developed in a year’s time as well.
