Bam Adebayo Cannot be Contained on the Boards

The North Carolina native has put on a rebounding clinic throughout these recent stretch of wins. Night in and night out, Bam has been absolutely dominating on the glass. The Wildcats current 13 game winning streak has been spearheaded by the play of the big freshman in the middle. Throughout the winning streak, Bam has averaged 10.4 rebounds per game and has tallied five double doubles. The success of the Wildcats greatly depends on the performance from the big man.

Bam Adebayo is averaging 13.3 points and 8.1 rebounds on the year. This is a major reason that the Wildcats have had so much success this season. Without Adebayo’s paint presence, Kentucky’s team rebounding is greatly impacted. There aren’t many other players on the team that can pick up the slack off of the boards. Limiting good teams to one shot per possession is huge against great scoring teams.

Thanks to Bam Adebayo, Kentucky has out rebounded opponents 521-432 during the Cats’ current 13 game winning streak.
