Alvin “Bud” Dupree played in a Kentucky uniform for four seasons. From 2011-2014, Dupree wreaked havoc on opposing offenses in the SEC. Often Categorized as a “freak athlete”, Dupree was virtually un-blockable.
While in Lexington, Dupree racked up some favoring numbers. Bud Dupree wrapped up his Kentucky career with 247 total tackles with 39.5 tackles for loss. Along with 25.5 career sacks, Dupree opened the eyes of many NFL Scouts.
Dupree was drafted in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft as the 22nd overall pick to the Pittsburgh Steelers. While in the Steel City, Dupree has impressed. The Macon, Georgia native has tallied 36 total tackles in his short career so far. The 2016 season was a short one for Dupree as he only played in seven games. During the second half of the season, Dupree started in four of his seven games coming back from injury.
