Dec. 17: Malik Monk drops 47, seals win against North Carolina with late-game heroics

"Oh my God, oh my God / If I die, I’m a legend"

In Kentucky’s top 10 matchup with North Carolina, Malik Monk had the sixth highest scoring game of all time for a Wildcat. It was a barn burner that came down to the last minute, only to be won by two heroic threes by the freshman shooting guard.

That, my friends, is pretty legendary.

For my money, it was the most entertaining game of the season. Monk put on an unforgettable show in Madison Square Garden. Hopefully it is a sign of things to come as Kentucky plays under bright lights in the NCAA Tournament.
