What can one say about Malik Monk that has not already been said? He has no postseason experience yet, but the man can almost do it all. He has unlimited range, and as of late has been attacking the basket like Calipari wanted him to do all along.

We could pick on him for his lack of attention on the defensive side of the ball, or his tendency to go multiple games without a rebound. As a result, he has what NBA scouts are drooling over: an unwavering ability to score in droves.

Currently, his career stats include 21.1 PPG and 2.3 APG. In this day and age of college basketball, it would be crazy to think that Malik Monk would ever come back for a sophomore season. This is the only time I will say this, but I totally agree with Draymond Green’s assessment. Although Monk’s career at Kentucky would be short-lived. The Lepanto, Arkansas native has made his mark in the Big Blue History books.
