Kentucky Basketball: Wildcats Bid Goodbye to Hawkins, Willis, and Mulder
Mychal Mulder
Mulder reigns from all the way from Windsor, Canada. Mulder transferred to Kentucky after playing his first two season at Vincennes University in Indiana.
Mychal came to Kentucky in hopes to provide a long range deep threat offensively. In his first season, Mulder didn’t contribute much as he was hard pressed for playing time behind Jamal Murray and Isaiah Briscoe. This season has unfolded to be a different story for the Canadian.
The Kentucky shartpshooter, has played excellent basketball as of late. In a season where he has knocked down shots, Mulder has seen a boost in minutes this season. As a guard, Mychal offers a great deal of athleticism to the floor and can attack the rim very effectively. He shows some flash at times with his leaping abilities on lobs at the rim.
The Numbers
On the season, Mulder has averaged 11.7 minutes per game off of the bench. Mulder has shot 39% from behind the arc while drilling 30 of 77 threes. The Senior has score a total of 133 points on the season which is a boost from the 12 points he scored all year as a junior. Mulder may not have been a Wildcat for as long as the other two seniors, but without him, Kentucky may have another loss or two on their record.
