The Man in The Middle

The Kentucky offensive line was one of the best units in all of the Southeastern Conference. The Wildcats’ offensive line was anchored by senior, Jon Toth.

Toth was the familiar face up front. Offensive line coach Jon Schlarman frequently used a rotation of players each series throughout the season. The only constant was the man in the middle. Toth has been the guy at center for his entire career up front after a redshirt season in 2012. Toth has played in every game of his career, starting each game but one. As a junior, he helped Boom Williams rack up a school record 7.1 yards per carry.

During his final season, Toth anchored an offensive line that helped two different running backs reach the 1,000 yard mark in a single season, in Benny Snell and Boom Williams. Toth capped off the 2016 season as a first team All-SEC member at Center and a spot on the Senior Bowl roster.

The 6-foot-5 Indianapolis native is currently projected as the fifth best center prospect in this year’s NFL Draft.
