Kentucky Football experienced a lot of success in 2016. There are a handful of players on the roster that were crucial to the success of the Wildcats last season.

Spring Football is beginning to near and the 2017 version of the Kentucky Football Team will begin to take shape. Projections will commence, position competitions will heat up and highly rated recruits will begin to show the fans what they’ve got.

It could be said that 2016 was the most successful season at Kentucky for quite some time. As a matter of fact, Kentucky’s record of 7-6 was the best mark since 2009, when Rich Brooks’ squad matched the same record en route to a Music City Bowl birth. That was Coach Brooks’ final season at the helm for the Wildcats.

The 2016 season held a lot of merit in the rebuilding phase of Mark Stoops and his staff. Fans finally got to see the product of work that Stoops has put in since he arrived four seasons ago. There are some notable performances from last season from individuals. These were the top performers of the 2016 season for the Kentucky Wildcats.
