Kentucky Football: Top 5 Breakout Players for 2017
Toughness and Intensity
If fans can say one thing about Kash Daniel, its that he is the symbol of what it means to be tough and have intensity for the game. Daniel saw sparse playing time on the defensive side of the football in relief of Courtney Love. Where Daniel made his mark was on Special Teams. It never failed, that on each kick-off there was No. 56 in blue right there with his nose on the football.
Kash Daniel has been a great get for Mark Stoops and the Kentucky Football Program. A virtually unknown recruit at one time, Daniel made a name for himself in the hills of Eastern Kentucky. Kash was a standout Linebacker and played Quarterback for the Paintsville Tigers.
His build and speed along with his toughness are what makes Daniel a great asset to this Wildcats team. Fans don’t usually pay much attention to the little things in games such as kickoffs and other special teams. I know when I watched Kentucky Games, it was evident that this young man will make his mark on the Kentucky defense real soon.
All-American
Daniel was selected as an Army All-American as a senior at Paintsville. Along with three others from the Bluegrass State, Drake Jackson and Landon Young, the trio will make up a large part of this team very soon.
