Replacing Boom

Sihiem King has been on the field and shown flashes of quickness and agility. Mostly, King has made his mark known in the return game. As Boom Williams declares for the draft, the door is open for King to make his mark alongside Benny Snell as a dynamic backfield.

King had fallen behind on the Depth Chart for some time as Boom Williams and Jojo Kemp were the feature backs during his Freshman season. Last season as a Sophomore, Williams and Benny Snell became the standout performers in the backfield as they both rushed for over 1,000 yards on the season. With the departure of both Kemp and Williams, Offensive Coordinator Eddie Gran will be looking to King as a possibility to step in and carry the load of this Kentucky offense.
