Wildcat Blue Nation’s All-Calipari Kentucky Basketball Starting Lineup

The writers here at Wildcat Blue Nation have been in talks to construct the best team possible for an All-Star John Calipari Kentucky Basketball team.

In an interview with Bleacher Report, John Calipari constructed his own team made of his former Kentucky Basketball players. When asked if a team assembled from only his Kentucky players, could win an NBA Championship, Calipari was not hesitant in his answer. Here’s a snippet from Coach cal’s interview with Reid Forgrave of Bleacher Report:

"Bleacher Report: “Do you think an NBA team made out of your ex-Kentucky players could win the title?” Calipari: “Oh yeah. But it could never happen, and it would have to be hypothetical, because they’d all have to be, what, eight or nine of them, max players, and you can’t pay them that.”"

So as we construct this team of superstars, there needs to be a criteria in which we base our decisions. When it comes to WBN’s All-Calipari Kentucky Basketball team, we have decided that the selections will be based off of their performances while only rocking Kentucky Blue.

NBA stats, Draft stock, as well as NBA All-Star teams are out of the question. Keep an open mind when it comes to some of these selections and remember, this is based on their careers only at Kentucky.
