The Kentucky basketball program is getting a new look in 2016-17. Check out the newly released uniforms that the Wildcats will be wearing this coming season!

The Kentucky basketball program is entering the 2016-17 college basketball season with championship-caliber hype. Between the incoming class of recruits and the returning players, Kentucky has an obscene amount of untapped potential.

Along with having a cast of new players in 2016-17, Kentucky will have a new look.

John Calipari has pulled in a recruiting class that’s as impressive as any he’s had in recent memory. He landed two of the most explosive guards in the country, as well as three high-caliber interior forces to be reckoned with.

Kentucky’s equipment staff revealed the new uniforms via the official Twitter account.

To paraphrase Deion Sanders: look good, feel good, play good.

With sophomore guard Isaiah Briscoe returning to lead the charge, the Wildcats will compete for the national championship. De’Aaron Fox has top pick potential in the 2017 NBA Draft and Malik Monk is an explosive sharpshooter.

Between those three guards, the Wildcats should be able to compete against any backcourt in the country.

Down low, Bam Adebayo is a consensus Top 10 NBA Draft prospect entering the 2016-17 college basketball season. He’s built like Dwight Howard, is an impressive athlete, and has a skill set that’s far more advanced than one might expect of a player his age or size.

Throw in sharpshooting defensive workhorse Wenyen Gabriel and skilled 6’10” big man Sacha Killeya-Jones, the Wildcats have five incoming five-star recruits.

With a new-look team, it’s only right that the Wildcats have new jerseys. With the smooth white torso and the beautiful patterns along the trim, Kentucky basketball will be playing in style.

The hope is that Kentucky basketball will be winning in style, as well.
