Austin Peay Governors

Date: Saturday, November 19
Venue: Commonwealth Stadium
2015 W-L Record: 0-11 (0-8)
2015 Head-to-Head Result: N/A

Simply put, the Austin Peay Governors aren’t a good enough team to give Kentucky football trouble. Anything can happen on any given Saturday, but Kentucky holds the clear advantage from a pure talent perspective.

Mark Stoops may be able to justify losses to the other teams on this list, but this game is a true must-win encounter.

Austin Peay went 0-11 against a lower level of competition during the 2015 season. In other words: the Kentucky Wildcats shouldn’t just defeat Austin Peay in 2015; this game should be a legal football massacre.

If any game is going to be a test of Drew Barker’s long-term potential, it’s this rare encounter with a clearly inferior opponent.

Barker should have one of his most efficient and productive games of the season. It can be a helpful and powerful outing for him as he prepares to face Kentucky’s most bitter rival just one week later.

Austin Peay can only benefit from giving its players a chance to play against an SEC school, but this game shouldn’t be close.
