8. Big Blue Madness is One of Your Favorite Days

If you’ve never been to Big Blue Madness, it’s definitely on your bucket list. You watch it on TV and embrace every minute of it.

Some Kentucky fans camp out, some are on the computer at 6:55 A.M. waiting to refresh the page at 7:00 in hopes to be one of the lucky ones.

It’s hard to get tickets, but if you’re able to get them, it’s one of the best experiences you can have as a Kentucky fan. If not, it’s devastating and you’re hoping you can find a decent priced ticket to buy.

I’ve been lucky enough to go every year since 2010. It’s become a daddy-daughter date for my dad and I.

It’s the moment the new season of basketball begins. It’s the moment you get to meet the new freshmen and show them what the Big Blue Nation is really about. It means that basketball season is around the corner, so your life has meaning again. It also means you get to see Matthew Mitchell do something crazy and fun.

As a Kentucky fan, it’s one of your favorite days of the year.

There are so many other ways to tell you’re a Kentucky fan, but these are absolutely undeniable and are true for people of all ages.
