5. Rupp Arena Feels Like Home

There is a saying that you hear every now and then and it’s pretty true.

“There is no place like home.”

That is, unless you’re a Kentucky Wildcats fan. Nothing gives you the rush of being at Rupp Arena. Everyone is there for the same reason, everyone is friendly and everyone is happy. Honestly, sometimes that’s better than being at home.

To Kentucky fans, Rupp Arena is one of their favorite places. They miss it when it’s not basketball season and are eager to get back in there.  I mean for heavens sake, they camp out for tickets to the first practice of the season. It’s the place that feels like home during basketball season. If Kentucky fans could, they’d go to every home game, just to be in Rupp Arena.

It’s holds the history of the program and there are reminders of the success of the program everywhere you look.

Even with the uncomfortable bleachers at the top, Rupp Arena feels like home to Kentucky fans. I bet there are some that are already itching to get back in there and it’s only May.
