2. You Watch the NBA for Former Kentucky Wildcats

It’s fun to see former Kentucky Wildcats succeed in the NBA if you’re a Kentucky fan. You may not watch the whole game, but you’ll look and see how you’re former players are doing.

Even if they’re on the team you despise, it’s hard to pull against them and their new team. You want them to be successful, you love them and you miss them. You helped them get where they are, you have to follow their NBA career at least a little bit.

If you can’t find it on TV, there are times you look up their past games just to see how they’re doing, especially when you hear that Demarcus Cousins just put up a huge amount of points the night before. Or that John Wall made some crazy play. Or the Devin Booker and Karl-Anthony Downs are both breaking and tying rookie records.

Even though it still may sting, the fact that they’re successful in the NBA is a great feeling for Kentucky fans.
