6. Tony Delk

Tony Delk had an NBA career that lasted from 1996-2008, let’s take a look

  1. 1996-97: Charlotte Hornets
  2. 1997-99: Golden State Warriors
  3. 1999-00: Sacramento Kings
  4. 2000-02: Phoenix Suns
  5. 2002-03: Boston Celtics
  6. 2003-04: Dallas Mavericks
  7. 2004-06: Atlanta Hawks
  8. 2006: Detroit Pistons

By 2009, Delk’s career had ended and he took up an assistant coaching job with the Kentucky Wildcats from 2009-11, followed by another assistant coaching job with the New Mexico State Aggies from 2011-13.

He is now a commentator on the SEC Network.

As a sophomore with the Kentucky Wildcats, Delk was voted All-SEC 2nd Team by the coaches and All-SEC 3rd Team by the Associated Press

Delk was also named to the the All-SEC Tournament Team. Delk was named to the All-SEC 1st and All-NCAA Regional teams during the 1994-95 season.

In the 1995-96 season, Delk was named to the All-American and All-SEC first teams and was named NCAA Basketball Tournament Most Outstanding Player. He also received SEC Player of the Year honors during the season that season. He was a vital, vital part of the 1996 National Championship team for the Kentucky Wildcats.
