48. Perry Stevenson
Perry Stevenson is another former Kentucky Wildcat to play under three head coaches. Like Krebs, Stevenson saw Tubby Smith, Billy Gillispie and John Calipari as his head coach.
Stevenson finished his strong collegiate career at Kentucky with 602 total points, 491 total rebounds and 160 total blocked shots. Filling in for the injured sophomore, Patrick Patterson, at the end of the 2008 season, Stevenson averaged 9.4 points, 9 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game, much stronger than his numbers prior to the Patterson injury. His ability to step up and play his role for the team helped the Wildcats end a seven-game losing streak to the University of Florida on Kentucky’s Senior Day.
Stevenson went undrafted after his senior season at the University of Kentucky and opted to play overseas in Portugal, which proved to be a flop for Stevenson. After his time in Portugal, Stevenson opted to coach basketball instead of play. Stevenson moved back to Lexington and coached middle school aged kids at Lexington Christian Academy.
In 2014, Stevenson was added to the coaching staff of Trinity High School in Louisville, Kentucky, where he still coaches today.
