#2 Devin Booker

Coming into the #2 position is the one and the only, Devin Booker.

He was an extremely vital part of the 2014-15 season going 38-1. His almost automatic threes, even when he had the slump, he absolutely held the heart of the Big Blue Nation, especially the females.

Booker, one of the most hard working players in, was 17-21 in his first 21 three point shots in his NBA career. If that isn’t impressive, I don’t know what would be. He is only getting better as time goes on. Even though he was only with the Wildcats for one season, the fans are going to absolutely follow his career and push him to be the best he can be.

Here is a recap of his NBA Debut

"Known for his shooting during his tenure at the University of Kentucky, Devin Booker wasn’t going to miss out on the opportunity to show off his shooting ability. Booker made his first basket with less than three minutes remaining in the third quarter with a 15-foot jump shot, following by ending the quarter with a long range 3-pointer, the first 3-pointer of his career. Booker saw 21 minutes of playing time against the Mavericks, shooting 85.7%, with 50% from beyond the arc. He only shot 1-3 from the free throw line, something he’ll have to improve on over the season, rookie jitters may explain that lackluster performance on his behalf. Booker also added three rebounds and one steal to wrap up his NBA debut. At one point, he was even on the court with three other former Wildcats, Eric Bledsoe, Archie Goodwin and Brandon Knight, meaning only one player on the floor was not a former Wildcats. (He was a badger, and played on last years team, but we’ll let that slide.) Not too bad, young man. I see a long career in his future, as time progresses, I imagine Devin Booker will be one of the best shooters in the NBA."
