Kentucky Wildcats Basketball: Top Players at Each Position in the John Calipari Era

We are ranking the best players to wear the Kentucky uniform under John Calipari position by position. Today is the point guard, a position that Coach Cal has developed a reputation for getting the best each and every year.

What do the rankings consist of? There are three simple things that will go into ranking the players

• Stats/Personal Success
• Team Success
• Impact on Fanbase

It’s extremely hard to rank players in the Calipari Era at the University of Kentucky because of the plethora of talent that goes through the program. Not a single year since John Calipari has taken over the head coaching position, has any position really gone unfilled. Unlike many other programs, each position is full of talent that not only has success in collegiate basketball, but many of these players have also continued onto the NBA to have even more successful professional careers.

Please remember that this is going to be different for each member of the Big Blue Nation. There is no way that anyone is going to completely agree and everyone is going to have their own opinion on who the top players at each position in the John Calipari Era are. Let’s take a look at mine.
