#6 38-0

I really wanted this to be #1, but I had to be realistic. This was the best team in recent college basketball. There has been absolutely nothing like what happened in the 2014-15 season for the Kentucky Wildcats. Losing in the Final Four is what has them ranked 6th. But, they are the only team in history to go 38-0 and 38-1 on the season. This team is a team that Kentucky fans will never forget. Willie Cauley-Stein. Karl-Anthony Towns. Devin Booker. Trey Lyles. Dakari Johnson. Aaron Harrison. Andrew Harrison. Even though the seven I named were drafted in the 2015 NBA Draft, Karl-Anthony Towns first overall. This team changed college basketball. This team was full of brotherhood, full of love and full of fun. To be honest, it still stings to think about the loss to Wisconsin, but this team was fun to watch and easy to love.

2015 NBA Draft Cats

  • Karl-Anthony Towns- 1st Overall to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
  • Willie Cauley-Stein- 6th Overall to the Sacramento Kings
  • Trey Lyles- 12th Overall to the Utah Jazz
  • Devin Booker- 13th Overall to the Phoenix Suns
  • Andrew Harrison- 44th Overall to the Phoenix Suns, traded to the Memphis Grizzlies
  • Dakari Johnson- 48th Overall to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
  • Aaron Harrison-Went underrated but was quickly picked up by the Charlotte Hornets, making the cut for the team.
