Kentucky Wildcats Basketball: Top 10 Teams in History

We are going to take a look at the top 10 teams in the history of Kentucky Basketball. With a program that’s history runs as deep as the Wildcats, it’s hard to determine which teams would be considered the top 10, but it’s even harder to determine which teams rank above others in the top 10. With eight National Championships, four runner-ups and 17 Final Fours, every Kentucky fan is going to have their own top 10, this just happens to be mine.

These are some of the hardest choices I’ve had to make, and I feel pretty sour for leaving certain teams out of the top 10, but the ones I have included, I feel pretty strongly about. I had to decide if I was going to do the recent history of the program or the entire history, because my top 10 would be different each way, but I ultimately decided to go with the entire history of Kentucky Basketball. With such a prestigious program, it was hard to determine who should go where but ultimately, I had help from a few fellow Wildcat fans and this is what we came up with.
