You can’t help but to hope he slides to the Pacers pick. This Indianapolis kid would love nothing more than to be drafted by his hometown team. Big Blue Nation would like this, too, they’d be able to drive a quick drive to Indianapolis to watch Lyles play, likely against another former Wildcat. Lyles is a versatile player, his jump shot is a dollar-maker, he has it nailed. He’s going to be a lottery pick, no doubt. He’ll have a long NBA career, basically because of Calipari’s ability to make him a positionless player. Lyles knows his role, isn’t afraid to come off the bench and is a solid team player. He’ll make some NBA team really happy soon.
