Kentucky Wildcats not the only 25-0 team in UK history

Patrick Towles seems to have a firm grasp on the Kentucky Wildcats starting QBV job headed into summer camp and Drew Barker will get a chance to compete.  However, Mark Stoops is look for the QB heir to them and the 2016 class should feature at least one QB, maybe two.  Another QB offer went out recently.

"Three-star quarterback Tyler Huntley told ESPN on Saturday that he has received a scholarship offer from Kentucky for the class of 2016. Huntley — a 6-foot-1 prospect from Hallandale Beach, Fla. — is listed by Rivals.com and ESPN as a dual-threat quarterback. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 22 pro-style quarterback in the class. He did not mention the UK scholarship offer during an interview with Rivals last week. Huntley’s only other offer from a “power five” program comes from Louisville, which offered two months ago and seems to be a major player early in his recruitment. West Virginia and North Carolina are among the others paying close attention. Huntley threw for 32 touchdowns and just two interceptions as a junior last season. He passed for more than 2,500 yards. UK’s top two quarterback targets early in the 2016 cycle are Austin Kendall and Messiah deWeaver — both four-star prospects and Rivals 250 recruits. It’s possible that the Cats will take more than one quarterback in this class."

Got to give it up to Urban Meyer.  Guy is smooth.  As evidenced by the Valentine’s Day card he sent to the mother of a UK 2016 recruit.

"Urban Meyer obviously knows what he’s doing here. The Buckeyes just landed their fifth straight Top-10 recruiting class, and they already have five commitments ready for next February’s Signing Day festivities. Although I’m sure Ferns’ mother is a special lady, you can bet she wasn’t the only recruit’s mom to receive these cards from Ohio State on Valentine’s Day. You’ve got to spread that love around if you want to land a top class. (No word on if the cards from Meyer’s staff contained the classic “Do you like us? Yes, no, maybe — check one, please.”)"
