A quarterback shakeup gave the Tigers some momentum to pretty much destroy NMSU after falling at home to Mississippi State. Anthony Jennings didn’t seem to be getting the job done, but fear not- Brandon Harris saved the day. Jennings got benched when he threw 2 interceptions of 5 attempts in the first quarter. Jennings, a sophomore had 2 completions and 11 passing yards. True freshman Harris was 11-14 for 178 yards, three TD’s and NO interceptions. He also hit the ground running (literally) with 2 scores and 36 yards on 5 attempts. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him named starter for the Auburn game- the Tigers have to get an SEC win. The defense looked much better than it did against Miss St, they allowed 274 yards- 79 of which came from one play.
