So close. We’ve all heard it…Kentucky against Florida, South Carolina and Mizzou…now Tennessee and Georgia. Unfortunately close just doesn’t cut it- its all about the number in the W column and right now Tennessee has a big zero in the conference one. QB Justin Worley had a great day completing 23/35 for 264 yards, 3 Td’s and no interceptions. The offense as a whole played very well with 401 total yards. But you know what they say, “offense sells tickets, defense wins championships (or SEC games, whatever)”. Unfortunately for the Vols, their defense had no answer for Gurley. The Dawgs had 289 rushing yards…208 were from Gurley. Florida should be a more even matchup for UT, but the Gators we’re watching this game from home with their feet propped up, resting and plotting how to take them down.
