Homecoming weekend means two things: festivities all week and a team on the schedule you’re likely going to beat- like Louisiana Tech, for example. The Tigers won their homecoming game (as they should) and had a pretty good day on both sides of the ball. 473 yards of total offense, an interception that was returned almost to the end zone and ended up setting up the drive for their first TD of the day. They also recovered a fumble and broke up a pass. They’ll need to play well to take down a different school from Louisiana next week. The real concern here is that both starting linebackers and an O-lineman left the game with injuries…that’s gotta hurt- literally.
