The prayers were not answered down in Baton Rouge with the Hail Mary as the Tigers fell to the Bulldogs. I’m still surprised, actually. Their defense had managed to shut out opponents the last 10 quarters, until MSU drove down the field and into the end zone to start the first quarter. Their freshmen Brandon Harris and Malachi Dupre showed promise, but LSU couldn’t seem to click out there. They can definitely redeem themselves a little next week, but the Wisconsin win it what is keeping them in the AP polls. They’ll have to really play tough the next week against Auburn if they want to move back up.
