Kentucky Wildcats Football: Mister Cobble, Donte Rumph sign NFL Free Agent contracts

Avery Williamson was not the only former Kentucky Wildcat getting a second chance to continue his playing career in the NFL. Mister Cobble and Donte Rumph also have signed NFL Free Agent contracts. Here are the details from a press release from the UKAA.
"LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky’s starting defensive tackles from the 2013 season, Mister Cobble and Donte Rumph, have signed free-agent contacts with the Denver Broncos and Atlanta Falcons, respectively.Cobble, a native of Louisville, Ky., was a two-year starter for the Wildcats. He made 84 tackles during his career, including seven tackles for loss and three quarterback sacks. Known for his ability to hold his position at the point of attack, Cobble made 25 tackles in his senior season. He joins a pair of former Kentucky players already on the Broncos, tight end Jacob Tamme and linebacker Danny Trevathan.Rumph, from St. Matthews, S.C., improved his production each season at Kentucky. His senior year was his best with a career-high 47 tackles, including six tackles for loss and two sacks. He was named second-team All-Southeastern Conference as a senior by Athlon Sports.A three-year starter, Rumph totaled 126 tackles during his time as a Wildcat, featuring 15 tackles for loss, seven sacks, two fumbles caused and one fumble recovery. Atlanta already has one defensive tackle from UK, Corey Peters.Along with linebacker Avery Williamson, who was a fifth-round draft pick of the Tennessee Titans, three seniors from the 2013 Kentucky team will have a chance to earn a place on an NFL roster this season. UK has had 48 players sign NFL contracts over the last seven years."
