Wednesday night was a quiet night for the NBA, playing only a mere 10 games. Let’s see how our Former Wildcats did for their teams.
Doron Lamb, Orlando Magic
Doron Lamb doesn’t see a whole lot of playing time for the Orlando Magic, but when he does, he takes full advantage. Wednesday night, the Magic took on the Philadelphia 76ers, winning 101-90. Lamb played off the bench for 18 minutes, scoring 11 points, going 2-3 from the field and 7-7 from the free throw line. Although his stat sheet was short, Lamb only missed one shot in his 18 minute playing time and was able to grab a rebound for the Magic.
Rajon Rondo, Boston Celtics
Rajon Rondo and the Boston Celtics took on the Atlanta Hawks Wednesday night, winning 115-104. Rondo, like usual, had a pretty solid game. Playing for 36 minutes, Rondo scored 22 points, grabbed 3 steals and wracked up 11 assists. Rondo is one of the NBA’s elite point guards and has began sharing the ball a lot more, wracking up many assists per game.
Nazr Mohammed, Chicago Bulls
Nazr Mohammed is still getting playing time in his older years for the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls took on the Golden State Warriors and whooped them 103-83. Mohammed only saw a mere 9 minutes playing time, but 8 points, almost a point a minute. Mohammed was also able to grab 3 minutes in his mere but important playing time for the Bulls.
Darius Miller, New Orleans Pelicans
I don’t know about you, but I love seeing that Darius Miller is getting playing time for the Pelicans. Miller and the Pelicans took on the Dallas Mavericks but came up short with a 89-108 loss. Miller saw a mere 11 minutes playing time, but was able to score 6 points, shooting 100%. Miller also grabbed an assist for the Pelicans to wrap up his night.
Anthony Davis, New Orleans Pelicans
With the loss to the Mavericks, Anthony Davis didn’t see much playing time after he injured his shoulder and was unable to come back. Davis only saw 13 minutes playing time, but he was able to score 6 points going 3-9 from the field, he had 9 rebounds in his short playing time, 1 assist and 2 blocks to wrap up his injury plagued night. Let’s wish Anthony Davis the best in recovering from his shoulder sprain.
Tayshaun Prince, Memphis Grizzlies
Tayshaun Prince is proving he is still elite as his Memphis Grizzlies team took on a struggling Los Angeles Lakers team. Winning 108-103, Tayshaun Prince saw 23 minutes playing time, scoring only 7 points. He was also able to grab 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals for the Grizzlies in their win against the Lakers.
Jodie Meeks, Los Angeles Lakers
Jodie Meeks is still in the starting position for the struggling Los Angeles Lakers. Playing for 37 minutes, Meeks scored 19 points, going 7-10 from the field, 2-4 from behind the arc and 3-4 from the free throw line. Meeks was also 4 rebounds and an assist in their loss to the Grizzlies.
Terrence Jones, Houston Rockets
Holding strong onto his starting position for the Houston Rockets, Terrence Jones and his team took on the Los Angeles Clippers Wednesday night, coming short of the win 93-101. Jones struggled offensively, playing for 19 minutes, he scored only 4 points, going 2-4 from the field and didn’t take a single free throw. Jones was able to grab 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal to wrap up his short playing time for the Rockets.
