8. #24 Ole Miss Rebels (3-1, 1-1) Last Game vs. Alabama Crimson Tide 25-0 Win: This didn’t turn out like Moncrief and Co. expected. At all. After boasting they have better WR than Texas A&M, they don’t score a single point. Yes, Alabama has an underrated defense but this was embarasing. Their D played good for one (1) half and got destroyed in the second. Hugh Freeze’s first bump this season is a big frigging pothole. At least next week when they’re in Alabama they’re playing Auburn instead so there’s that. Next Game @ Auburn Tigers on Saturday, October 5th @ TBD PM ET
9. Auburn Tigers (3-0, 1-0) Last Game BYE WEEK: . Next Game: vs. Ole Miss Rebels on Saturday, October 5th @ TBD PM ET
10. Arkansas Razorbacks (3-2, 0-1) Last Game vs. Texas A&M Aggies 45-33 Loss: Bret Bielema never played against anyone like Johnny Manziel in the Big 10 so naturally the Razorbacks couldn’t control him. Arkansas got QB Brandon Allen back who played decent with 3 TDs but he also had 2 INTs. Bret’s going to have to focus on the running game on both sides of the ball if he wants to be successful in the super fast SEC. Next Game: @ #20 Florida Gators on Saturday, October 5th @ TBD PM ET
11. Tennessee Volunteers (3-2, 0-1) Last Game vs. South Alabama Jaguars 31-24 Win : Tennessee got too cute and almost let South Alabama steal defeat from the jaws of victory. They put it in neutral when they went up 31-7 in the 3rd Q. Can’t do that in the SEC so you better not against a nobody school. Justin Worley played poorly and their D wasn’t disciplined enough. They’re going to struggle this season if they can’t get some consistency. Next Game: vs. Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday, October 5th @ TBD PM ET
12. Mississippi State Bulldogs (1-2, 0-1) Last Game BYE WEEK: Next Game: vs. #6 LSU Tigers on Saturday, October 5th @ 7:00 PM ET
13. Vanderbilt Commodores (3-2, 0-2) Last Game vs. UAB Blazers 52-24 Win: Vandy ran all over the Blazers in this game. Austyn Carta-Samuels keeps the D honest by tossing two (2) scores but they scored five (5) rushing TDs. Jordan Matthews and Jonathan Krause each had over 100 yds receiving. If they can get their D worked out, this could actually be another bowl team. Next Game: vs. Missouri Tigers on Saturday, October 5th @ 7:30 PM ET
14. Kentucky Wildcats (1-3, 0-1) Last Game vs. #20 Florida Gators 24-7 Loss: Simmah down people, simmah down. Yes, the losing streak is up to 27 games and no we didn’t score a TD on offense or defense but don’t lose your minds. We knew this year would be tough and once again we competed and were a couple plays from making this very close. Their D grounded the “Air Raid” but Neal Brown and Co. will take care of that. Have faith and be positive because our next game will be a nightmare. Next Game: @ #12 South Carolina on Saturday, October 5th @ 7:30 PM ET
