A good middle linebacker can make or break most defenses, and in the case of Andrew Jackson, he makes the Western defense one to be reckoned with.

Jackson let the world know who he is in 2011, when on a nationally televised game against Kentucky:

After recording 12 tackles, two for loss, versus the Wildcats it was evident a star had been born. Jackson followed up his debut with a team-high 109 tackles, 17 of them being for a loss.

He followed up his breakout sophomore campaign with an even better showing in his junior season in 2012, leading WKU in tackles (122), forced fumbles (4) and quarterback hits (3). He was named first-team All-Sun Belt Conference for the second-straight season, and his 17.5 tackles for loss ranked second on the team behind Quanterus Smith’s 18.5.
