Former Kentucky Wildcats cornerback Anthony Mosley will be getting a workout with the Chicago Bears this week as he looks to earn a spot on someone’s 53-man roster this year:
"JaMarcus Russell won’t be the only player trying out for the Chicago Bears this Friday. The Bears will also welcome cornerback Anthony Mosley for a workout, according to a league source. He was last with the San Francisco 49ers during the summer of 2012.Mosley played college football at the University of Kentucky. He boasted a low 40-yard dash time of 4.36 seconds."
In case you forgot Mosley’s claim to fame came in the Cats upset-win over the South Carolina Gamecocks in 2010. With four seconds remaining in the game, Mosley picked off South Carolina QB Stephen Garcia’s attempt at a game winning TD in the end zone to seal an improbable Wildcat comeback and seal a 31-28 victory. This was the program’s first ever victory over a Steve Spurrier coached team., and it was head coach Joker Phillips’ signature victory as a head coach.
