There was plenty of action last night in the NBA world and Plenty of Former Cats for you to check out. Let’s take a look at the recaps for last night’s games.

Charlotte Bobcats (18-61) 93 – Detroit Pistons (28-52) 113

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist-Forward-Charlotte
Brandon Knight-Guard-Detroit

The Bobcats continue their downward spiral as they have only won 18 games all season. As a matter of fact, I think they are in a race with the Orlando Magic (20-59) to see who can get the league’s worst record. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist finished the game with 7 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal.
Detroit isn’t doing any better as they are already out of playoff contention and every other question is if the head coach can hold on to his job(doubtful). Brandon Knight had a good showing as he went for 19 points with 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal.

Toronto Raptors (31-48) 97 – Chicago Bulls (43-36) 88

Nazr Mohammed-Center-Chicago
Marquis Teague-Guard-Chicago

The bulls have earned their way to the playoffs but they have dropped 4 out of their last 5 games. Nazr Mohammed had a good night scoring 16 points with 13 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal.
Marquis Teague did not play.

Philadelphia 76ers (32-47) 97 – Washington Wizards (29-51) 86

John Wall-Guard-Washington

The Wizards have lost their last 4 in a row even though John wall continues his great play. John had 24 points with 7 assists, 2 rebounds and 1 steal.
Brooklyn Nets (47-32) 117 – Indiana Pacers (49-30) 109

Keith Bogans-Forward-Brooklyn

Both teams are guaranteed a playoff berth but Brooklyn took this one last night. The Nets are on a 4 game win streak. Keith Bogans had a slow night as he had 0 points on 0-3 shooting. He had 2 rebounds and 3 assists.

Los Angeles Clippers (53-26) 96 – New Orleans Hornets (27-53) 93

Eric Bledsoe-Guard-Los Angeles Clippers
Darius Miller-Forward-New Orleans

The clippers are now THE team in LA as they have been tearing it up this year. They are currently on a 4 game win streak. On the flip side, the Hornets are on another 3 game losing streak. Eric Bledsoe went for 9 points with 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal.
For New Orleans, Darius Miller played a little over 4 minutes with no stats. Anthony Davis did not play as he has a sprained MCL in his left knee.

Memphis Grizzlies (54-25) 87 – Houston Rockets (44-35) 78

Tayshaun Prince-Forward-Memphis
Terrence Jones-Forward-Houston

The Grizzlies are doing good and will be in the playoffs. Tayshaun Prince had 9 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. Terrence Jones hit the boards tonight going for 7 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal.

San Antonio Spurs (58-21) 108 – Sacramento Kings (28-51) 101

Demarcus Cousins-Center-Sacramento
Patrick Patterson-Forward-Sacramento
Chuck Hayes-Forward-Sacramento

Sacramento falls again for the 51st time as the Kings beat them by 7 points. Demarcus had 19 points, 12 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. Patrick had 8 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Chuck was 0 for 3 shooting for 0 points with 2 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal.

Oklahoma City Thunder (59-21) 106 – Portland Trail Blazers (33-46) 90

Daniel Orton-Center-Oklahoma

Oklahoma rolled past Portland last night with ease. Daniel Orton saw limited action scoring 2 points with 1 rebound.

Golden State Warriors (45-35) 116 – Los Angeles Lakers (43-37) 118

Jodie Meeks-Guard-Los Angeles Lakers

The Lakers were pushing hard last night to try and stay one game ahead of Utah. They did just that, winning by 2 points but it was at a heavy cost. Kobe Bryant tore his Achilles tendon and will likely miss the rest of the season. Jodie Meeks had 3 points, 2 assists and 2 rebounds.
