Can Willie Cauley-Stein become the Kentucky Wildcats Kemba Walker?

Yesterday, we linked to an article about how UK RB Chad Scott actually lived in his car for seven months while a grad assistant at UNC. We all know that Scott followed Neal Brown to UK from Texas Tech that is a relationship that should provide beneficial to UK this year:
"Former Kentucky offensive coordinator Tony Franklin hired Neal Brown to coach receivers at Troy the year before he brought Chad Scott to Troy to coaching running backs. “When I first got to Troy, coach Franklin said you kind of need to watch Neal. He is well organized, he is passionate about what he does, he is anal about little things, he is detailed oriented even about little things,” Scott said. “He said, ‘You need to follow his lead and let him mold you because he knows what he is doing,’ and that’s what I did. “So we bonded real well as coaches because everything he did, I took from him. The setup of recruiting areas, how you study film, how you analyze film, how you grade it. We just kind of hit it off. When he became the coordinator (at Troy when Franklin left for Auburn), we kept working with each other. I was very fortunate that he thought very highly of me. “Outside of just knowing the coaching duties, I never knew he exactly how he felt about me as a coach until he had the opportunity to go to Texas Tech and took me with him. It was a huge honor for him to take me as a running back coach with him. I stayed there and I turned down coaching jobs to stay with him. I appreciate the loyalty that he has, and the respect he has for me as a coach. I think we work really well together.” Scott said it is “easy to work” for Brown because he makes it clear what he expects."

Kentucky’s Football Spring Game is a month from today and there will be plenty of recruits attending. One of those will be dual threat QB Matthew Jordan from Alabama. Jordan will also be taking a visit to the Crimson Tide next week but is ready for his visit to Kentucky:
"Jackson (Ala.) dual-threat quarterback and athlete Matthew Jordan recently received an invitation to Kentucky’s spring game on April 13. There will be a junior day that coincides with that spring game, which will be held at night, and Jordan plans to attend. Matthew Jordan is a standout QB, but he could switch positions in college. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound prospect is teammates with Gavin Bryant, a linebacker that Kentucky has already offered. “Coach (Derrick) Ansley was just saying that they’re interested in me and they’ll be down in the spring to see me. He said hopefully they’ll be able to tell me the same thing they told Gavin,” Jordan said. Jordan’s interest in UK is already up with talk like that. He has an offer from Memphis but the opportunity to play in the SEC is obviously attractive. “I’m very interested,” Jordan said. “It’s in the SEC and he was telling me about the weight room and all that stuff. I’m pretty interested in Kentucky.” Jordan is a dual-threat quarterback but could move to a skill position because of his speed and overall athleticism. While some quarterbacks have a hard time with the idea of not calling the shots, Jordan just wants to play. “I want to play quarterback but I love the game of football so much it doesn’t matter what I play,” he said."
