It was a busy weekend in the NBA and in last night’s games there were a total of 13 former Kentucky Wildcats playing games. Daniel Orton, Eric Bledsoe, Jodie Meeks, John Wall, Tayshaun Prince, Doron Lamb, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, DeMarcus Cousins, Chuck Hayes, Patrick Patterson, Brandon Knight, Marquis Teague and Nazr Mohammed all suited up for their respective teams. Let’s take a look at how each player did individually in last night’s action.
Washington Wizards 90 – Philadelphia 76ers 87
- John Wall, Guard, Washington
John Wall was the top performing last night. For the Wizards, Wall finished with 16 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds. Wall also iced the game with a big jumper with only 4 seconds remaining in the game. Wall also gave the Wizards the lead with free throws with just over a minute remaining. The Wizards beat the 76ers 90 to 87.
Sacramento Kings 119 – Charlotte Bobcats 83

A total of four former Cats took part in last night’s Sacramento Kings vs. Charlotte Bobcats game. For the Kings, DeMarcus Cousins finished with 14 points and 9 rebounds. Also for the Kings, Chuck Hayes had 6 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Lastly for the Kings, Patrick Patterson had 5 points, 2 rebounds and a block. For the Bobcats, Michael Kidd Gilchrist finished with 10 points and 6 rebounds. The Kings blew out the Bobcats, 119 to 83.
Memphis Grizzlies 108 – Orlando Magic 82

Two former Cats took the floor against each other last night in the Memphis Grizzlies vs. Orlando Magic game. For the Grizzlies, Tayshaun Prince led team with 14 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. For the Magic, Doron Lamb played 12 minutes and had 2 points and a steal. The Grizzlies got the win over the Magic by the score of 108 to 82.
San Antonio Spurs 114 – Detroit Pistons 75

Brandon Knight had a bit of an off night against the San Antonio Spurs last night. Knight finished with only 8 points, but also added 6 assists, 6 rebounds and 2 steals. The Pistons got blown out by the Spurs, 114 to 75.
Indiana Pacers 97 – Chicago Bulls 92
- Marquis Teague, Guard, Chicago
- Nazr Mohammed, Center, Chicago
Two more former Cats took the floor for the Chicago Bulls against the Indiana Pacers last night. Marquis Teague played 28 minutes off the bench but only finished with 2 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Nazr Mohammed finished wtih 7 points, 5 boards and 2 blocks. The Bulls fell short to the Pacers, losing 97 to 92.
Oklahoma City Thunder 108 – Los Angeles Clippers 104

Two former Wildcat teammates went up against each other in the Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Los Angeles Clippers game last night. For the Thunder, Daniel Orton did not check into last night’s game. For the Clippers, Eric Bledsoe finished with 2 points, 3 rebounds and 2 steals. The Thunder edged out the Clippers, 108 to 104.
Los Angeles Lakers 99 – Atlanta Hawks 98
- Jodie Meeks, Guard, Los Angeles
The final former Cat in action last night was Jodie Meeks of the Los Angeles Lakers. Against the Atlanta Hawks, Meeks finished with only 1 point in 20 minutes of play. The Lakers beat the Hawks by one, 99 to 98.
