According to ESPN basketball analyst Dick Vitale, Kentucky point guard Ryan Harrow will be out for tomorrow night’s game against Duke:

John Calipari did say today in his weekly teleconference that he is confident in starting Jarrod Polson at point guard and keeping Archie Goodwin at shooting guard. Expect to see both players get some run at the point, and Cal even hinted that reserve point guard Twany Beckham could get some minutes as well as he recovers from a leg injury.

The Cats did get some good news on the injury front today, as shooting guard Julius Mays practiced after suffering an eye injury during Friday night’s win over Maryland. The injury likely affected Mays during the game, leading to his 3/10 performance, so hopefully the swelling is down and he’ll be ready to light up the Duke Blue Devils when the two prominent programs square off in Atlanta tomorrow night. The Wright State transfer was also suffering from a knee injury going into the Maryland game, but by all indications, he’s recovered from that.
