Kentucky Wildcat Football: The Billboard Battles
Some website called “Big Time Yurts” (WTF indeed) has started a campaign to sell 900 bumper stickers that say “Lexington is for the Birds” to pay a months rent for a billboard in Lexington that has the same phrase.
Here is the funny thing: these two fans are too stupid to realize that now that their intentions are known, the University of Kentucky could easily buy the billboard space as a preemptive attack. And even if the billboard goes up, it will be down in about an hour.
Get over it Cards. Kentucky has been doing this for years and now they did one better by putting it on your campus. If UK put one over Charlie Strong’s house (next year, fingers crossed!), nobody in Louisville would bat an eye. Don’t you get it yet? Just as many Kentucky fans live in Louisville as you. No Louisville fans live in Lexington. No Louisville fans live anywhere else other than Louisville for that matter.
Cal has done it again. Well, at least according to CBSsports.com writer Jeff Borzello. He ranks Cal’s 2012 class as the number one class again for the 20th (fourth) year in a row. The fact that Kentucky has the number one player over all, three of the top 15 players and four players ranked in the top 45 put them over UCLA and Arizona.
