There were highlight alley-oops and dunks galore all season as Kentucky became the college version of the LA Clippers’ Lob City. Miller and MKG supplied us with three of the nastiest dunks seen in the NCAA ranks:

Kentucky vs. UNC: Clash of the Titans

One of the most hyped regular season meetings in recent memory happened in Rupp Arena on December 3. The match up was supposed to be between #1 UNC and #2 UK, but the Tar Heels lost to UNLV earlier and that dropped them to #5. But the luster was still bright as the ‘Cats were number one and there was a plethora of NBA talent on the floor. It was close throughout as Kentucky prevailed 73-72 thanks to an unforgettable block by Anthony Davis on John Henson’s last second attempt. That block would have been the most memorable image of the season if Christian Watford would not have made that last second three point basket. Many thought that North Carolina would get a rematch in the national championship game. A Kendall Marshall broken wrist derailed any chance for that.
