6:50 The WBN selection show wrap up will be on shortly, but it’s been real and enjoy the madness or March, it should be something special.
6:45 First thoughts on ranking the brackets from hardest to softest:
#1 East looks the hardest with (1) Syracuse, (2)Ohio State, (3)Florida State and (4)Wisconsin.
#2 Midwest has (1) North Carolina, (2)Kansas, (3)Georgetown, (4)Michigan should be UNC or Kansas’ to lose.
#3 South has lots of rivalry games but I won’t be complaining with Kentucky’s draw of (1) Kentucky, (2)Duke, (3)Baylor and (4)Indiana. Kentucky should matchup great against any of these teams.
#4 West having (1) Michigan State, (2)Missouri, (3)Marquette, and (4)Louisville could see a sleeper come out of that bracket but Michigan State plays well in the post season and there isn’t much competition here.
6:43 Big East gets 9, Big 10 gets 6, Big 12 gets 6, ACC 5, A10 4, Mountain West 4, SEC 4, WCC 3, CUSA 2, MAAC 2, Missouri Valley 2, PAC-12 2
6:40 Looking at the Midwest, North Carolina and Kansas look to be on a train to the Elite 8… can’t see any team in this region stopping them.
6:39 Bracket #4 Region Midwest:

#7 St Mary’s (27-5) (Omaha, NE)
#10 Purdue (21-12)
#2 Kansas (27-6) (Omaha, NE)

#2 Missouri (30-4) (Omaha, NE)
#15 Norfolk State (25-9)
6:16 If Kentucky makes it past UCONN, I like their chances – (2) Duke, (4) Indiana, are most unathletic teams and Hoosiers lose home court advantage. Lots of history in this bracket… but if Kentucky faces them, they’ll have to make sure they are defending the 3.
6:14 Wow, the Uconn game is a scary one for a second round game, but it is interesting to see Indiana in the Sweet 16.
6:13 Bracket #1 Region South:
#1 Kentucky (Thursday in Louisville)
#16 Mississippi Valley State or Western Kentucky
#8 Iowa State (22-10)

#10 Xavier (21-12)
#2 Duke (27-6) (Greensboro, NC)
#15 Lehigh (26-7)
6:09 Looking for Duke in UKs south bracket.
6:07 Commercial break… so some thoughts. Michigan State has to scare the Cats seeing as how they’ve been a nemesis over the years but that’s much better than potentially seeing UNC in the Final Four. The brackets and first four will be revealed next.
6:03 Kentucky (South), Syracuse(East), North Carolina (Midwest), Michigan State (West)… Michigan State is on Kentucky’s bracket. Syracuse and UNC on the same side.
6:02 First Four – In Dayton, starting Tuesday and Wednesday on CBS and TruTV.
6:00 Overall #1 – Kentucky. Great season but what will their bracket hold?
5:57: One more commercial and it’s bracket time! Enough of Steve Alford!
5:48: Interview with Frank Haith of Missouri, Frank isn’t worried about the #1 seed but thinks the resume supports that spot.
5:47: With Michigan State winning the Big 10 tournament since 2000, the Spartans could capture what is presumably the open #1 seed. Will it happen?
