Is Louisville out of the running for Derek Willis?

The buzz and rumors are starting to say that that Derek Willis will become a member of John Calipari’s Kentucky Wildcats on Friday afternoon. Cardinal Connect is reporting that the Louisville Cardinals are out of the running for Willis and that the decision will be between Kentucky and Purdue, the school Willis formerly committed to:
"From what I am being told, Willis will be deciding between Kentucky and Purdue. Louisville and Indiana were previously involved. I can assure you I wouldn’t put this out there if I wasn’t 100% confident in the source."
Ah yes, it all comes down to an unidentified “source”. And we know how those are generally right about half the time. Other Cardinal sites like Cardnal Chronicle are also speculating that Derek Willis will become a Wildcat. We will find out on Friday. If this is true and Willis does become a Wildcat, expect Rick Pitino to blame the Courier Journal and CL Brown.
