Maybe you are into wrestling. I’m not. But I thought a picture of the Rock doing his signature move pretty much sums up what Georgia is going to do to Kentucky on Saturday. After Vanderbilt’s blow out victory, the Cats hit rock bottom and they are about to get a taste of the best team in the SEC East.
Kentucky (4-6) at #14 Georgia (8-2): Saturday November 19th, 12:21 PM
I don’t have many thoughts on this game. Georgia is libel to put up 50 points on the Wildcats as they are infinitely more talented at every position (except linebacker: thank you Danny Trevathan and Winston Guy). If our team couldn’t handle Jordan Rodgers, how do you think they will handle Aaron Murray?
I don’t expect much life in the Wildcats as I don’t see much life in the coaching staff. Joker Phillips is in a constant fog every time he speaks and has no answers for anything at all. And that’s not something you want to see out of your head coach.
I will chalk this up as a victory if we don’t lose by 20 or more points.

Louisville (5-5) at Connecticut (4-5): Saturday November 19th, 12:00 PM
Louisville will finish the season with two very important road games. As long as “Call to Duty”, as Charlie Strong likes to call it, is not a factor then these games are very winnable. As long as Louisville does not self destruct they, will win one of these games and make it to the Frisches Big Boy Bowl, or some such nonsense, and the fans will act as if they are returning to the Orange Bowl.
UConn is terrible, don’t get me wrong, but it is a possibility that they can beat Louisville. The Cards have been undisciplined all season long and that has not changed one bit, but they have more young talent that UConn.
As much as it hurts me to see Louisville go bowling and play better football than the Wildcats, I have to read the writing on the wall.

SEC Game of the Week: Mississippi State (5-5) at #6 Arkansas (9-1): Saturday November 19th, 3:30 PM
Most of the SEC’s best are playing cupcakes this week. LSU is playing Ole Miss, Alabama is playing Georgia South, Vanderbilt is playing Tennessee and Georgia is playing Kentucky (yes, I went there). This game is definitely the most intriguing.
Poor old Arkansas. The Hogs definitely have the look of a team that could play for the BCS Championship, but alas they play in the same side of the SEC as the Green Bay Packers (LSU) and the New England Patriots (Alabama). Right now, the Razorbacks are trying to get into a BCS bowl game and they have a great shot at doing that.
Next week they face LSU in the final game of the season. Can they unseat the #1 team in the nation and make their case for a National Title? It’s possible, but they can’t look past a dangerous Bulldog team. MSU has underachieved all season, will they finally live up to their potential in this one?

Non-SEC Game of the Week: #4 Oregon (9-1) at USC (8-2): Saturday November 19th, 8:00 PM
Oregon crushed Stanford and Andrew Luck last Saturday. USC gave the Cardinal a scare in a 3 overtime classic. USC has, in my opinion, the best quarterback in the country with Matt Barkley. I know 98% of the college football world disagrees with me, but Andrew Luck just doesn’t wow me with his talent like Barkley does.
There will be a lot of points scored in this game and the Ducks still think they can sneak into that BCS championship game. USC is still on probation and cannot play in a bowl game, so being a spoiler is all they have to look forward to.
Ever since Oregon got hammered by LSU, they have rolled through the schedule. I think USC will provide them a real challenge in southern California and will play that spoiler role perfectly.

Clunker of the Week: The Kentucky Wildcats. That is all.
NFL Game of the Week: Bengals (6-3) at Ravens (6-3)
I cannot figure Baltimore out for the life of me. One week they look like the best team in the NFL and then the next week they go out and lose to the Titans, or the Jaguars, or the Seahawks. I just don’t get it.
The Bengals have been much better than we all thought they would but now they are getting into the AFC North. They got their first taste of it when they played the Steelers last week at home, and now they have to travel on the road in order to face a likely pissed off Ravens team.
I look for Baltimore to make a statement and put a whoopin’ on the Bengals.
