On Thursday at 2:45 p.m., the Kentucky Wildcats, the 4 seed in the East Region, will begin their 51st NCAA Tournament appearance when they play Princeton, the 13 seed and Ivy League Champions, in Tampa. It is also Kentucky’s 23rd NCAA Tournament appearance since 1985, the beginning of the current format of the tournament.
