It's a Football Monday Mad Lib!

Hello __(friendly nickname)___, good to see you back! It’s the time of the year when every one completely forgets about football for at least 3 weeks. And since everyone (myself included) is in the mood to fill out some blank lines and make some bets, I will be providing you with a football madlib as well as some good money bets. It will be a really __(adjective)__ time, and it’s fun for the whole __(social unit)__. Over under on effort to talk football this week: minimal. Let’s get started on this MadLib!

Boy howdy, what a __(emotion)__ weekend. My favorite game was when the Cats beat the ___(team name)___ and really put it to that miserable old ___(cuss word)___ ___(coach name)___, there’s no one I’d rather see it happen to. But what about that seed that Florida got? I cant believe they got the __(overrated seed)__ in one of the easiest brackets! That selection committee must be ___(verb)___-ing ____(drug)____. Well I’m sure they’ll be __(verb)___-ing home with their __(noun)___ up their ___(noun) after they play ___(team with any sort of talent)___. ___(analyst)___ has said the Cats are in a/n ____(adjective)___ region, and I would agree. Coach Cal has a __(adjective)__ road in front of him but the team has been playing ___(descriptor)___ and they could go all the way to the ___(destination)___. But you’re not here to listen to me talk about ___(sport)___, you want football!
Pro day was March 10th, and in the ___(length of time)___ that have followed, opinions are slowing to only slight shifts at this point, which for some players is ___(positive/negative word)__ and others would rather see it change. Randall Cobb was a ___(adjective)___ ___(noun)___ and ___(ESPN analyst)___ said that he has solidified his status as a ___(hopeful draft spot)___. His versatility and smarts make him a true ___(noun)___, not to mention how ___(adjective)___ his is. Derrick Locke is still __(verb)___ing his ___(noun)___ and hoping for the best, as well as the rest of the team. Hopefully the draft will turn out like some of them hope, otherwise they’ll be ___(cuss word)___.

Those mad libs are definitely harder than I thought, but just like the brackets, you can print that off and have fun with your friends comparing answers. It’s a riot, I promise! But seriously, nothing much has happened in the football world besides the NFL edging closer to completely alienating their fanbase; the MLB did it a few years ago and it took two ‘roided up guys breaking records to get people interested again. The draft will happen regardless of the labor situation, so we’ll be able to watch that worry free until we see Rex Ryan lumbering towards the buffet .
