We still need some leadership on the court can we get this guy back out there?

So most of us are still holding our breath from last night’s victory over the Dawgs it wasn’t the prettiest thing but to quote my favorite movie ever. “It doesn’t matter if you win by an inch or a mile, winning is winning.” So we should all be happy today and excited about the play we received from Doron Lamb played and extremely good game and was the leading scorer with 19 points and two rebounds. He continues to be an important piece to this team. But my MVP of last night’s game goes to Mr. Miller who had another “Miller Time” night with 14 points and seven rebounds. He has stepped his game up a lot in the past weeks and I have been extremely proud.

In other news there has been talk that Larry Brown’s visit this week may come back to bit the team in the butt. An article about the situation was made light of by the news I starting to hate Lexington Herald, saying that Brown helping in practice may have been an NCAA violation. The rules say a visiting coach can watch practice and talk with the coaching staff about improvement they can make but not allowed to interact with players. As we know yesterday Josh Harrellson commented on Brown’s visit and even said he talked with the players and stopped drills. Now the school is pretty much calling Harrellson a liar and saying such things never happened.

“It didn’t happen,” UK Spokesman Peevy said. “I have no idea what Josh is talking about.”

Now either our senior player is crazy or the school is trying to cover their tracks, later in the article Sandy Brown, UK Chief Compliance Officer, said “If he did, we’ll deal with it.” She also added that if it occurred that it is only a secondary violation.

Some are questioning if Cal’s six man rotation is a good thing for the team. Eric Crawford of the Courier Journal wrote an interesting article about this. Cal talks about how he likes to stick with the six man rotation and that it works. He did this at UMASS my only question is, If it worked so well why don’t you have ring on your finger? Check back later on this week for more details on the story.

Now to some football news, looks like Tee Martin will be sticking around for a little while. Martin was promoted to “Passing Game Coordinator” yesterday. Martin has been with the program for a short time and was given a four-year deal. Martin is an extremely good recruiter and it is good to keep him on our staff.

Last in the news today the performance of Derrick Locke at yesterday’s Senior Bowl. Locke had great game now his number’s does look great but you have to remember is a lot of players are trying to showcase their talent so it’s a lot of rotating in and out of the game. Locke finished second in rushing on the day with 37 yards with 11 carries. He had one big moment in a 4th and 1 situation when he rushed for 15 yards. This should increase his value in the draft I am positive someone will pick him up to play next season.

In closing you guys know the drill by now. Go vote for Wall. It’s the American thing to do and Uncle Sam really wants you to do it so click him and go vote.
