Featured Game: September 19th, 1998 Kentucky – 31 Indiana – 27
Kentucky came into the border battle with Indiana in 1998 winning the last 3 meetings between the two schools. But the Hoosiers didn’t want a fourth loss in a row to the Wildcats. Indiana jumped out to a 27-10 lead when Aaron Williams recovered a Kentucky fumble in the endzone early in the 3rd quarter. Kentucky mounted a great comeback though, scoring the game’s final 21 points, including the game-winner when John Rader intercepted Antwaan Randle El’s pass and raced 46 yards to the endzone with just 46 seconds left in the game. It wasn’t the prettiest game for the Wildcats, they committed 6 turnovers including 4 interceptions thrown by Tim Couch, but they came away with their fourth win in a row against their border rivals.
