Ladies and Gentlemen, step right up, grab your coffee and follow along with me as we cover the “Respect” Edition of the WBN Hot Links. Rodney claims he gets no respect from anyone. He toils and works to make himself an honored and respected character and at the end of the day, what does he have? Rodney has the respect of everyone around him, and everyone who enjoys his brand of true to life humor and perspectives. Despite his claims he is one incredible comic and makes me laugh until my sides hurt. Which brings me to our beloved Wildcats. Are we getting any respect? Well, not if you are a Pete Thamel enthusiast. But hey, maybe our buddy Pete just doesn’t know any better. Maybe he had a bad childhood, maybe they had to tie a pork chop around his neck to get the dog to play with him as a kid, I don’t know. It just seems to me that anyone who tries to make a living off of making other people look bad, or ruining their reputations is just a very unhappy guy. Maybe if we all pitched in, and got Ol’Pete a ticket to come down here and learn about things first hand, he might feel better about himself. Or maybe he just needs a vacation. Or maybe he has watched All The President’s Men too many times. Needless to say it may be some time before we know what makes Pete so grumpy, but hey, he is in New York, we are here in God’s Country, so it is his loss. On with the links.
Up first, Florida is not on as firm ground as they once were when it comes to an SEC East title this year, are the Cats the team which hold the key? Take a look and find out. PTI has taken up the Eric Bledsoe Case, and they stand firm in the Kentucky camp on players being cleared and then maybe not cleared.Worried about John Calipari? How would you like to be Mike Hamilton at Tennessee?
Kentucky RB recruit Ashely Lowery is going to be a good one, maybe another Randall Cobb. There is one less Gamecock to worry about this morning as Steve Spurrier has dismissed TE Weslye Saunders. The Wildcats are doing more good work under Cal’s guidance. Nice job guys, keep up the good work.Patrick Patterson has his first shoe contract. You couldn’t get a better player Peak Sports.
Jerry Tipton reports that Enes Kanter has received a waiver to continue to practice with the Cats while his eligibility is sorted out. I can report that I have seen “Free Enes” signs everywhere from Lexington to Paducah to Somerset. We are Big Blue. My buddy Glenn Logan over at A Sea Of Blue says Pete Thamel has now revealed himself as a Calipari Foe. Check out some of the comments made by the fans. All right.
